About us

The Coaches is a space for documenting and learning skateboarding that grows from the community itself.

It comes from what already exists in skate culture, time spent at spots, shared sessions, exchanged tricks, stories told between attempts. What lives here is shaped by that rhythm, not constructed from the outside.

Behind it are four skaters. Three actively teach and have guided many newer skaters as they grow. One works mostly behind the scenes, shaping the direction and holding the larger vision together.

The name The Coaches may sound literal, but skateboarding is the real teacher. Concrete, repetition, setbacks, small progress, and the people you meet along the way, those are what shape how someone rides, and how they move through life.

Over time, The Coaches is growing into a living directory and archive of the community. Beginning in Bandung and expanding outward, it aims to be a place where people can discover skaters, trace their journeys, and see how different scenes connect.
